TEHRAN (PIN) - The 13th international oil and gas conference of the Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) entitled “Energy Management: Policies and Experiences” kicked off at the Olympic Hotel in Tehran today.
According to PIN, the two-day event is being held in presence of Iranian Oil Minister, Gholam-Hossein Nozari, and many world’s energy officials, aiming at reviewing and introducing international investment opportunities in fuel consumption efficiency.
Sixty-eight domestic officials and many representatives from the most important European and Asian countries and international bodies have taken part in the conference.
Also the Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Abdalla El-Badri is to attend the second day of the conference.
Energy management and policies, energy modeling, planning and pricing policies, energy management and climate changes, renewable energies, new technologies for energy saving, and investment opportunities in Iran’s energy sector are among the most important topics on the agenda.
Three workshops are also held on the sidelines of the conference
